 Dr. Hervy H. Hiner, Jr. founded Southeast Texas Nephrology Associates, P.A.
in 1994 and is now an associate partner with Dr. Cyprien Vertil. A
native of Pittsburg, TX, he received his undergraduate degree from
Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacagdoches, TX. Dr. Hiner
completed his medical school training and residency at Baylor College
of Medicine, where he also served as a clinical instructor and
assistant professor of medicine. He is Board Certified in Internal
Medicine and Nephrology. Dr. Hiner's appointments include Medical
Director of the Renal Care Group in Beaumont, Medical Director of the
Southeast Texas Kidney Center in Port Arthur, Medical Director of Port
Arthur Dialysis and Medical Director of the Renal Care Groups in
Nederland and Orange. His professional associations include the American Society of Hypertension, the American Society of Nephrology, the Texas Medical Association, the Jefferson County Medical Society and the Renal Physicians Association. |

Dr. Cyprien L. Vertil joined Southeast Texas Nephrology  Associates,
P.A. in 1994 and became an associate partner January of 2000. A native
of Haiti, he completed his medical education at Ecole de Medicine et de
Pharmacie, Universitie D'etat D'Haiti in Port-au-Prince. Dr. Vertil is
Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Board Certified in Nephrology,
and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. His professional
memberships include the Texas Medical Association, the American Society of Hypertension, the International Society of Nephrology, the American Society of Nephrology
and The Renal Physicians of Texas. Dr. Vertil also serves as Co-Medical

 Dr. Syed S. Rehman joined
Southeast Texas Nephrology Associates, P.A. in July, 2003. He received
his Fellow of Science (Pre-Medical) from Sir Syed College in
Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Dr. Rehman's MD with Honors was attained at Army
Medical College in Pakistan. He completed his residency at Mount Sinia
School of Medicine (Jersey City Program), acquiring the title of Chief
Resident, Internal Medicine. Dr. Rehman finished his Nephrology
Fellowship at New York Medical College, Westchester Medical Center
Program. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Certified
in Nephrology. Professional memberships include the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, the American Society of Nephrology, the Texas Medical Association and the Jefferson County Medical Society. Dr. Rehman is married, with two children. |
